August Health and Teton Partner to Bring AI-Powered Monitoring Directly into Senior Living EHRs

San Francisco, CA – February 11, 2026

Two companies specializing in senior living care technology have announced a strategic integration connecting AI-powered ambient monitoring with electronic health record systems. The partnership links Teton's computer vision platform with August Health's EHR, enabling automatic documentation of detected fall incidents and eliminating duplicate data entry for care teams.

"Care providers don't need more dashboards or forecasts, they need objective context where decisions are already being made," said Katie Grant, President U.S. at Teton.

What the integration does

The integration provides bidirectional data exchange. August Health supplies census data to Teton's platform. Teton feeds fall events, sleep data, and activity patterns back into the resident's longitudinal health record. Care teams see monitoring insights directly within August Health's interface, where they already spend their time documenting care.

Communities using Teton's monitoring have documented up to 40% fewer adverse incidents through earlier intervention capabilities.

Why this matters

"Building bidirectional integrations with sensor companies has been a priority for us," said Erez Cohen, co-founder of August Health. "The senior living industry is adopting monitoring technologies faster than ever, but too often those systems operate in isolation."

An August Health and American Seniors Housing Association report found that while 81% of clinical leaders want tools supporting earlier action, only 15% have fully adopted such systems. This integration closes that gap by bringing monitoring data into the workflow where clinical decisions are already happening.
