Purpose of processing your personal data

Teton develops solutions based on computer vision and artificial intelligence. Teton One, which through the collection of video data of citizens, helps care staff ensure better and more efficient treatment of citizens in the healthcare sector.

Teton is committed to make an impact on the quality of care for both citizens and staff in hospitals, nursing homes, and other places where care and wellbeing is in focus.

Using and processing personal data collected through the solution is crucial for the ongoing development and optimization of Teton One to continue making impact and difference for citizens and staff in the healthcare sector.

Types of Data collected and Methods of processing

When consent is given, Teton will collect images via the cameras that are installed in the citizen's room. These images are used for continuous development and optimization of our solution.

We review the images to identify and derive data points about whether there is a person in the clip, the person's figure, the person's movement patterns, estimates of health markers, such as estimates of rest, sleep, and respiration, as well as the context in the room, including the presence of staff and other objects relevant to care.

These data points are crucial for training our algorithm to ensure that Teton constantly improves it.

We will process images of citizens, relatives, or staff when they are present in the citizen's room or patient room.

The clips will not contain any name, social security number, or other information that can be directly linked to the citizen, staff, or relatives, other than the image itself. The clips contain following metadata:

  1. Acronym for where the clip was recorded (site ID)
  2. Date
  3. ID number of the camera installed

Teton does not process data with the purpose of identifying specific citizens.

Legal basis of processing

We process personal data based on your consent, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a).
For staff and relatives who have not given consent, it is instead based on consent and legitimate interest pursued by the Owner or by a third party under GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
