Teton Proudly Sponsors
Tour de Barchester 2026

May 26, 2026

Every year, Barchester Healthcare takes on a 200 mile cycling challenge. This year, Teton was proud to be part of it as Gold Sponsor of Tour de Barchester 2026.

“We are delighted to welcome Teton as gold sponsor of Tour de Barchester 2026. Having partners who genuinely understand and care about the work this sector does makes a real difference. Seeing Will out on the road with us across Scotland was a brilliant reflection of that commitment.”

Every year, Barchester Healthcare takes on a 200 mile cycling challenge. A team of staff and partners clip into their pedals and ride to raise money for Barchester's Charitable Foundation. This year, we were proud to be part of it.

Teton was the Gold Sponsor of Tour de Barchester 2026, and our Business Development Director (UK) Will Pearson joined their ride on the road across Scotland. This year's route ran from Thurso to Glasgow between May 18 and 22, covering over 200 miles and visiting 16 care homes and one support office along the way.

What is Tour de Barchester?

Now in its fifth year, Tour de Barchester is an annual multi-day cycling challenge organised by Barchester Healthcare in aid of Barchester's Charitable Foundation, a registered charity supporting older people and working-age adults with a learning or physical disability or mental health condition across England, Scotland, and Wales.

The Foundation focuses on reducing isolation and loneliness, funding group activities, and helping people connect or reconnect with their local communities. Last year, the Foundation supported 262 small groups and charities and 123 individuals, which marked its most impactful year to date.

The Tour de Barchester is exactly the kind of initiative we want to be part of. What Barchester's Charitable Foundation does for vulnerable people in local communities is genuinely important work, and this event brings the care sector together in the best possible way. We're proud to be a gold sponsor.

Why this matters to us

At Teton, we work alongside care teams every day. We know the dedication it takes to deliver great care, and deeply respect the communities that make it possible. Getting behind events like Tour de Barchester and the Foundation it supports is an extension of that.

Great care doesn't stop at the door of a care home. The people living in those homes are part of wider communities, and staying connected to those communities matters deeply to their quality of life. Residents who are engaged, connected, and supported beyond their immediate care needs are residents who thrive.
